The Glarus Art Museum as Guest at Liste 04

Andreas Dobler, Daniel Robert Hunziker, Markus Müller, Tom O’Sullivan, Mai-Thu Perret, Julika Rudelius, Joanne Tatham, Pierre Vad

Each year, the Liste, the Young Art Fair at the Warteck in Basel that takes place in parallel with Art Basel, invites a Swiss art institution to present itself and its program. Previous guests at the Liste have included Fri-Art, PlugIn, and the Migros Museum; this year, the Glarus Art Museum will introduce itself at the international art fair in Basel with a special project.
The centerpiece of the presentation of the Glarus Art Museum at the Liste will be the installation created by the artist Daniel Robert Hunziker (b 1965, lives and works in Zurich) especially for this space. Daniel Robert Hunziker's architecturally influenced works have played an important role in the Swiss art scene since the middle of the 1990's. As a sort of living archive, the works of artists will also be shown who have been exhibited in the Glarus Art Museum in recent years, such as the video installation tagged by Julika Rudelius (b 1968, lives and works in Amsterdam), which was presented for the first time in Glarus, as well as works by Andreas Dobler (b 1963, lives and works in Zurich), Joanne Tatham & Tom O’Sullivan (b 1971/1967, live and work in Glasgow), Markus Müller (b 1970, lives and works in Basel), Mai-Thu Perret (b 1976, lives and works in New York), and Pierre Vadi (b 1966, lives and works in Geneva).
