Tourism fills a void, an empty space, with moving images that occupy the large and generous rooms of Kunsthaus Glarus. Tourism is a video-exhibition playing with the shift in temporality between the architectural and the filmic space. The technique of montage – via the use of the camera, computer generated images, audio and appropriated media, also as a curatorial approach of the exhibition – serves as a possible form for critically exploring conflicting ideas in the relationship between mental and physical space.

Tourism is curated by Luca Beeler, Richard Sides and Judith Welter and will take place in two parts in two different institutions: Kunsthaus Glarus and Stadtgalerie Bern in summer.
